Who we are
A structure of excellence to meet the growing need for high-level and permanent training; a well-equipped, modern and functional place in which to hold conferences and meetings; a reference point for the whole Biellese: Città Studi represents all this.
Città Studi Biella was founded on the initiative of local institutions and business associations in order to promote the technical and scientific development of the Biella industry.
An auxiliary institution of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella, it represents one of the most important centers of industrial culture in Italy and includes, in its 100.000 square meters:
- a University Seat;
- an Agency for Professional Training accredited by the Regione Piemonte and certified ISO 9.0010
- a Congress Centre and a Specialized Library;
- an area of Services, Research and Consultancy to Enterprises.
Mission and activity
The mission of Città Studi is:
- to represent an “integrated structure” to meet the needs of the Territory with regard to: formation, research and spread of technological innovation;
- to be recognized as the reference point of the educational, cultural and scientific activities of the Territory, achieving the best environmental conditions for activities and results;
- to represent the place of provision and diffusion of the ongoing of continuing formation;
- to ensure access to an international research network in the Research’s domain;
- to develop the academic dimension by pursuing the image of a center that stands out for its quality and effectiveness.
